Lea Taylor
Creative Director
"Embrace the magic of words, and let your imagination soar. Within every heart lies a story, and it's our mission to help you weave yours into the tapestry of life."
Lea Taylor is the Creative Director and Co-founder of The Book Whisperers, and brings a wealth of experience to the team. With over 20 years of working in community settings as a Community Learning and Development Worker, Lea has honed her skills in designing and delivering courses to all age groups, as well as managing publicity, venues and health & safety risk assessments.
In addition to her community work, Lea is a professional storyteller and has been working in publishing and writing for many years. She has set up Scaramouche Press and has published five books to date. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Editors and Proofreaders. Her latest book, "Blossom on the Wind" is a contemporary fiction novel, the second part of a trilogy. Her other works include "Midlothian Folk Tales", "Animals Beasties and Monsters of Scotland", and "Malaky Midge."
Lea is a Writing Coach and also is a host of the six-week show "Tell Me More" supported by Made in Midlothian. She is passionate about all things words, and through The Book Whisperers, she is dedicated to helping others find their own passion for writing, podcasting, publishing, or reading. Lea is excited to be part of a community that is supportive, passionate, accessible and will do everything to open up the world of words for everyone.
